Wayne Rooney says he’s captaining Manchester United “his own way,” and it’s working


There’s more than one way to skin a cat — so they say — and there’s more than one way to captain one of the world’s biggest soccer clubs, according to Manchester United striker and captain Wayne Rooney.

Rooney, who took over as United captain at the beginning of the 2014 season, spoke out this way about the way he captains the Man United squad, and how his style differs from that of former United skippers like Roy Keane and David Beckham.
